I've seen your face before, along the streets of distant shores ... alone
abandoned by the world.

A desperate child, who no one knows, nor cares about, nor sees at all
a life ... forgotten by our hearts

Where do you go when the world's to hard and days to long,
to seek some shelter from the storm?

Where do you find the strength to face a day no different than the last?
Where do you see your hope?

Where do you find the light when all around the darkness lies
The voice that assures you, "It's alright"?

Who do you run to, when you fall down and need a touch.
The words to make it all seem right?

You beg for food to stay alive but deep inside your heart cries out,
"Oh please, just hold me in your arms!"

"Is there anyone who hears my cries and sees my need?
Please just take me by the hand!"

"If you're hungry eat of me, if you're thirsty freely drink,
if you're weary I'm your rest ..... Come unto me"
